Edmonton's single detached home and condo prices are down in January of 2014, while number of sales, average days-on-market, and inventory are up.
The average price for a single family detached home in January was $416,344, down by 1.7% from last month and up by 4% from January of 2013.
The condo prices were also down slightly by 2.0% to $230,463. Total of 820 residential properties have sold in the first month of 2014, 3.9% less than same period last year, and it took on average 61 days for these homes to sale.
The inventory incresead to 3,537 residential properties available compared to 3,049 from last months and 3,743 in January of 2013.
