Tuesday, November 5, 2013 - Edmonton Real Estate Market Update

Edmonton home prices, number of sales and inventory are down slightly in October 2013, while average days on market are unchanged.

The average price for a single family detached home in October of 2013 was $397,613, down by 2.7% from last month and up by 6.5% from October of 2012.

The condo prices were also down slightly by 3.3% to $235,680. Total of 1,346 residential properties have sold in the 10th month of 2013, 17% more than same period last year, and it took on average 54 days for these homes to sale, same as in September.

The inventory decreased to 4,807 residential properties available compared to 5,111 from last months and 6,406 in October of 2012.
