Wednesday, August 7, 2013 - Edmonton Real Estate Market Update

Edmonton home prices and inventory are down slightly in July, while number of sales and average days-on-market are up.

The average price for a single family detached home in July of 2013 was $410,372, down by 0.5% from last month and up by 3.4% from July of 2012.

The condo prices were also down 7.2% to $242,516. Total of 1,875 residential properties have sold in the 7th month of 2013, 24.9% more than same period last year, and it took on average 49 days for these homes to sale, an increase from 47 days.

The inventory decreased to 5,834 residential properties available compared to 6,078 from last months and 7,684 in July of 2012.
