Monday, November 5, 2012 - Edmonton Real Estate Market Update

Edmonton single detached home prices and inventory are down in October, while condo prices, number of sales and average days-on-market are up!


The average price for a single family detached home in October of 2012 was $372,061, down by 1.2% from last month and up by 2.5% from October of 2011.

The condo prices were up by 2.1% at $234,177. Total of 1,375 residential properties have sold in the 10th month of 2012, 15% more than same period last year, and it took on average 61 days for these homes to sale, an increase from 59 days.

The inventory decreased to 6404 residential properties available compared to 6956 from last months and 7296 in October of 2011.
